iServices launches smartphone-connected breathalyzer
iServices has introduced a compact smartphone breathalyzer designed for personal and preventive use. The gadget connects to a mobile device via USB-C and operates through a dedicated application.
The device utilizes an electrochemical sensor to analyze exhaled air, providing an estimated alcohol level on the smartphone screen within seconds. The accompanying app also allows users to maintain a history of their measurements.
Retailing for 19.95 euros, the device is intended for individual estimation only. The manufacturer notes that the results are merely indicative and do not serve as a substitute for official tests conducted by competent authorities.
