Isesaki City to host Gekikara Festa 2026 spicy food festival

The ‘Gekikara Festa 2026’ is scheduled to take place on August 30, 2026, from 15:00 to 19:00 near the south exit of Isesaki Station. Organized by the NPO ‘Asward’, the event features various spicy food vendors and special activities.

Highlights include a ‘Made in Isesaki’ booth offering free ice cream and sports drinks, as well as the sale of local chili peppers produced through agricultural-welfare collaboration. Special guest Kuwamaru, the Isesaki City PR character, will also appear, with ‘Kuwamaru capsule toys’ available for purchase. Additionally, the first 200 attendees wearing cool clothing will receive a complimentary drink, and a limited distribution of 300 Lotte ice cream products is planned for 16:00.
