Isetan Shinjuku launches luxury leather collection and Khaite flagship store

The Warmthcrafts‑MANUFACTURE brand, specializing in Japanese‑produced horsehide leather, held a limited‑edition promotion at Isetan Shinjuku’s men’s leather‑goods section from 5 August to 25 August. The event featured exclusive code‑van wallets, bags and a hand‑woven “LOOM WOVEN” luggage capsule made from horsehide supplied by Shin‑Kih Leather (Himeji). Purchases over ¥77,000 earned a complimentary leather‑protection sheet for the first 20 customers.

On 12 July, American label KHAITE opened its first permanent Japanese store in Isetan Shinjuku’s International Gallery on the third floor, followed by a handbag and wallet counter on the first floor on 15 July and a launch in Osaka’s Hankyu Umeda store on 22 July. The Tokyo boutique showcases a range of bags, shoes and apparel, including lambskin bomber jackets and cashmere knitwear, expanding the brand’s presence in Japan.
