Isfahan hosts policy council for 38th International Children and Young Adult Film Festival

The policy council for the 38th International Children and Young Adult Film Festival held a meeting in Isfahan to discuss the continuity and development of the event. The meeting included high-ranking officials such as Raed Faridzadeh, head of the Cinema Organization, Hamid Jafari, CEO of the Farabi Cinema Foundation, and Ali Ghasemzadeh, the Mayor of Isfahan.

Prominent figures in the Iranian film industry, including Iraj Tahmasb and Giti Khameh, were also in attendance. During the session, Raed Faridzadeh emphasized the importance of maintaining cultural events, noting that the festival's 38-year history demonstrates its deep roots. He highlighted the festival's role in providing educational and cultural value, specifically noting its potential to re-engage the family unit through cinema.

Discussions also touched upon the role of public institutions and municipalities in supporting major festivals. There was a proposal to utilize the collaborative experience between government bodies and local municipalities to establish a permanent secretariat for the festival, ensuring its long-term stability as an international-standard event.
