Ishak Pasha Palace reaches 200,000 visitors this year

The Ishak Pasha Palace, located in the Doğubayazıt district of Ağrı, has welcomed approximately 200,000 visitors so far this year. Local and foreign tourists have shown significant interest in the historic Ottoman-era structure. Erhan Ağrı, the Provincial Director of Culture and Tourism for Ağrı, stated that the administration aims to reach 250,000 visitors by the end of the year.

Monthly visitor numbers typically range between 25,000 and 30,000, though peak months have seen figures rise to between 40,000 and 50,000. In August, the palace saw over 30,000 visitors, while September figures approached 25,000 before the month's end.

To enhance the visitor experience, digital initiatives are underway, including the planned completion of an audio guidance system by year-end. Additionally, the Ministry of Culture and Tourism is managing various restoration requirements for the site. The palace is noted for its complex architectural style, incorporating Baroque, Rococo, and Gothic elements alongside traditional motifs.
