Ishikawa Sake Brewers to host inaugural Night Sake Marche for Noto recovery

The Ishikawa Prefectural Sake Brewers Association has announced the inaugural ‘Night Sake Marche,’ a special pre-event scheduled for September 4, 2026, in Kanazawa. The event is organized under the theme ‘Support! Noto Sake Breweries’ to aid the reconstruction of breweries affected by the January 2024 Noto Peninsula earthquake and subsequent heavy rain damage. A portion of the event proceeds will be dedicated to these recovery efforts.

Limited to 80 participants, the evening will feature 15 breweries from across Ishikawa Prefecture. Attendees can enjoy pairings of premium local sake, including 23 varieties of ‘hiyaoroshi’ (autumn sake), with gourmet food provided by A___RESTAURANT. The event offers a unique opportunity for guests to interact directly with brewers and sake makers in a buffet-style setting.
