Ishkhan Saghatelyan meets European leaders to advance Armenian priorities

Ishkhan Saghatelyan, a member of the Armenian National Assembly and representative of the Armenian Revolutionary Federation (ARF), conducted a series of high-level diplomatic meetings in Paris and Brussels to advance Armenian national priorities.

In Paris, Saghatelyan met with French Socialist Party leader Olivier Faure at the French National Assembly. The discussions focused on the right of return for displaced Armenians from Artsakh, the release of Armenian prisoners currently held in Azerbaijan, and the protection of Armenian cultural and religious heritage. Faure reaffirmed his commitment to maintaining Armenian issues on the French political agenda.

In Brussels, Saghatelyan met with members of the European Parliament, including Hana Jalloul Muro and Nacho Sánchez Amor, alongside Kaspar Karampetian of the European Armenian Federation for Justice and Democracy. These meetings aimed to strengthen ties with European socialist and social-democratic leaders and address regional security, democracy, and the continued detention of Armenian prisoners in Baku.
