ISI takes direct control of major terror group operations

Following Operation Sindoor, the Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) has reportedly taken direct control over the operations of major terror groups, including Lashkar-e-Taiba, Hizbul Mujahideen, and Jaish-e-Mohammed.

Intelligence officials indicate a significant shift in operational strategy. Instead of independent command centers, a Brigadier and a Colonel are now overseeing the groups to ensure operational synergy. Under this new structure, infiltration attempts across the Line of Control (LoC) have been modified; rather than large groups from a single outfit, attempts now consist of three terrorists—one from each group—acting under direct ISI instruction.

Intelligence agencies report that over 500 terrorists are currently positioned across the border awaiting instructions to infiltrate into India.
