Isidora Trifunović faces theft charges after Belgrade shopping center incident

Isidora Trifunović, wife of Serbian actor Sergej Trifunović, has addressed a recent incident at a Belgrade shopping center that resulted in a criminal complaint for theft. The incident occurred when a security alarm was triggered as she was exiting a boutique.

Trifunović explained that while she had intended to return all items after trying them on, a shirt and trousers remained among her belongings, possibly caught in her shopping bags. She stated in a podcast that she did not intentionally attempt to take the items and expressed a willingness to pay for them immediately, though store security followed protocol by contacting the police.

The Public Prosecutor of the First Basic Public Prosecutor's Office in Belgrade has ordered a criminal complaint against I. T. for the offense of theft under Article 203, paragraph 1 of the Criminal Code.
