Isili police report driver evasion and traffic violations

A 23-year-old driver has been reported to the authorities in Isili following a high-speed pursuit of Carabinieri officers. During the night between October 18 and 19, the individual ignored a roadside stop command on State Road 128, using high beams to obstruct the vision of the officers before fleeing toward the center of Isili.

The driver reportedly engaged in dangerous maneuvers, including ignoring stop signs, making reckless overtakes, and driving into oncoming lanes. Following an investigation, the Carabinieri identified the driver, resulting in a report for dangerous flight. The individual faces nearly 1,000 euros in fines, the loss of 28 driver's license points, and the immediate seizure of his license. Additionally, authorities have seized weapons that the young man had been legally possessing.
