ISIPER to celebrate 40th anniversary in Entre Ríos

The Instituto Superior de Informática de Entre Ríos (ISIPER) will celebrate its 40th anniversary on September 8 at the central headquarters of the Faculty of Science and Technology of the Universidad Autónoma de Entre Ríos (UADER) in Oro Verde. The event has been declared of Legislative Interest by the Chamber of Deputies following an initiative by Deputy Silvio Gallay.

Juan Pablo Filipuzzi, dean of the Faculty, noted that the institute was founded in 1986 during the administration of Governor Sergio Montiel. He described the creation of ISIPER as a pioneering and vanguard decision that addressed the emerging need for professional profiles in informatics, eventually paving the way for academic programs in systems, telecommunications, and artificial intelligence.

The anniversary celebrations will include a commemorative plaque ceremony and a tour of the current facilities. To preserve institutional memory, the Faculty has conducted interviews with former rectors, teachers, and administrative staff, compiling photographs and documents to be shared via the institution's YouTube channel. The Faculty of Science and Technology currently serves approximately 8,500 students, with about 5,000 focused on systems and telecommunications.
