Iskariot premieres Blind Date musical in Antwerp

Production house Iskariot has premiered the Flemish version of the musical comedy Blind Date at the Fakkeltheater in Antwerp. The production follows two singles, Sarah and Bert, who attempt to find love through a dating agency managed by an enthusiastic character named Fleur.

The story utilizes a scientific matchmaking concept, testing the pair at the Cupido’s Pijl restaurant where they must remain together without mobile phones. The performance features musical contributions from Michiel De Meyer and Sandrine Vanhandenhoven, with Charline Catrysse playing the role of Fleur. The production is supported by a three-piece orchestra led by Thomas Vanhauwaert and includes new songs written by Sam Verhoeven and Allard Blom for this specific version.
