İskele: Two arrested for 50,000 euro extortion and threats

Police in İskele have arrested two individuals, identified as R. B. (39) and S. G. (38), following an extortion attempt at a local restaurant. The suspects allegedly demanded 50,000 euros from a victim and threatened to harm the individual's family if the money was not paid.

Other recent police activities include the arrest of a 46-year-old in Gazimağusa for theft involving construction materials, the detention of two individuals for residing without valid permits, and the arrest of a person found sleeping on a beach chair in Gazimağusa who lacked means of support or accommodation. Additionally, legal action was initiated in Kalkanlı after an unlicensed dog bit a passerby.
