İskele Youth Center opens in İskele

The İskele Youth Center (İGEM) has officially opened in İskele following a formal ceremony. The facility features 2,000 square meters of indoor space designed to support the social, cultural, and personal development of local youth.

The project was completed through the resources of the İskele Municipality and contributions from the Development and Economic Cooperation Office of the Turkish Republic Embassy in Nicosia.

During the opening ceremony, Prime Minister Ünal Üstel, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Tourism, Culture, Youth and Environment Fikri Ataoğlu, and Minister of Education Nazım Çavuşoğlu attended. İskele Mayor Hasan Sadıkoğlu emphasized that the center is intended to provide a space where young people can share ideas, develop projects, and contribute to the future of the country.
