İskenderun Technical University team wins third place in TUSAŞ LIFT UP program

A student team from İskenderun Technical University (İSTE) secured third place in the TUSAŞ LIFT UP Industry-Oriented Undergraduate Graduation Projects Program. Competing against 369 projects, the team earned a 150,000 lira prize for their work titled “Reconfigurable Intelligent Surface Design for Radar Cross Section Reduction in Aviation Applications.”

The project was academically advised by Prof. Dr. Mehmet Ali Belen and industrially advised by Hasan Kıyık. The team members included Fikret Derya Tüzüntürk, Furkan Başkır, Kenan Gümüş, and Evren Songur. The achievement highlights the university's capacity for advanced engineering technology and its collaborative approach with the defense and aviation industry.
