İskilip completes social housing delivery and highway works

In İskilip, Çorum, the Ministry of Environment, Urbanization and Climate Change and TOKİ have completed the delivery of 148 social housing units. Located in the Hacıpiri neighborhood, these earthquake-resistant homes were built using a horizontal architecture approach with raft foundations and tunnel formwork systems. The project includes social amenities such as parking areas, green spaces, sports fields, and playgrounds.

Additionally, long-standing road construction on the Çorum-İskilip highway is nearing completion. After approximately 12 years of intermittent work, AK Party Çorum Deputy Oğuzhan Kaya announced that the final stages of the project are scheduled for completion between October and November. Specific sections are expected to be finished in stages through August, September, and October, with final junction arrangements in İskilip slated for November.
