Islamabad civic services move to digital platform via PAK App

The Capital Development Authority (CDA) and the Metropolitan Corporation Islamabad (MCI) have launched a digital initiative to transform Islamabad into a digital city. Key public services will now be accessible through the PAK App, aiming to make service delivery more transparent, efficient, and citizen-centric.

Through the app, citizens and businesses can manage various municipal tasks, including the payment of property taxes and water bills. The platform also covers applications for advertising and open-space permissions, parking permits, generator licenses, and municipal approvals.

The digital system allows users to submit applications online, upload necessary documents, track application status, and make payments electronically. This move is intended to reduce reliance on physical documents, manual procedures, and in-person visits to government offices, thereby saving time and creating reliable digital records for better monitoring and grievance redressal.
