Islamabad Police and NCCIA extend job recruitment deadline
The application deadline for various positions within the Islamabad Police and the National Cyber Crime Investigation Agency (NCCIA) has been extended to September 14, 2026. Federal Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi announced the extension via social media, encouraging Pakistani youth to apply for these roles.
The recruitment drive includes a variety of operational, technical, and administrative vacancies. Specific roles include Sub-Inspector (48 posts), Assistant Sub-Inspector (36 posts), Constable (174 posts), Technical Assistant (15 posts), Stenotypist (8 posts), Upper Division Clerk (6 posts), and Constable Driver (64 posts).
Candidates must meet specific educational requirements ranging from Matric to Bachelor’s degrees, including IT-related qualifications. The general age limit is 18 to 25 years. Certain positions require passing physical fitness tests, such as a 1.6 km run, with time limits of 7 minutes for men and 10 minutes for women. Applications must be submitted through the National Police Foundation – Testing & Assessment Service (NPFTAS) online portal.
