Islamic supplications for morning prayers and prostration
Religious guidance highlights various Islamic supplications (du'a) for morning rituals and prayer postures. Morning prayers are emphasized as a means to seek sustenance, success, and spiritual tranquility.
Regarding prostration (sujud) during prayer, specifically during the dawn prayer (Fajr), religious scholars note that this is a time when a believer is closest to God. Ahmed Mamdouh, a secretary of fatwa at Dar al-Ifta al-Missriyyah, suggests that praying for the Prophet is among the best supplications during sujud. Other recommended prayers include seeking forgiveness for all sins, asking for light in one's heart and senses, and seeking protection from divine displeasure.
