Islamophobic assaults in London and Moncton spark outrage

In Moncton, New Brunswick, Canada, a video released by the National Council of Canadian Muslims shows a Muslim woman being violently attacked in a parking lot while her seven‑year‑old child watches. A mob shouted racist slurs, including “Go back to your country,” before assaulting her, leaving facial swelling, nosebleeds and other injuries. The incident has been reported as a possible hate crime, prompting calls for a thorough investigation and stronger condemnation of Islamophobia.
