Island Motorsport returns for Coppa Nissena Historic

Island Motorsport, led by Eros Di Prima in partnership with Tempo srl, is set to return to competition at the 71st Coppa Nissena Historic in Caltanissetta. The event is part of the Sicilian Championship for Historic Hillclimb Car Speed.

The team will field five drivers across historic and modern categories. Notable participants include Giuseppe Gulotta in a Stenger BMW, Stefano Parisi in a Lancia Delta Integrale, Alfredo Altopiano in an Opel Kadett GTE, and Beppe D’Anca in an Osella PA20/S BMW. In the modern category, Fabrizio La Rocca will compete in the Group Racing Start Plus with a Peugeot 308 GTI.

The event follows recent dramatic events at the Monte Erice race and includes preliminary operations starting Friday, September 11, followed by reconnaissance runs.
