Isle of Van Motorcycle Challenge raises over $81,000 for charities

The fourth annual Isle of Van 9-Hour Motorcycle Endurance Challenge raised a total of $81,765 at the Vancouver Island Motorsport Circuit on August 23. The event saw 17 rider teams participate and an estimated turnout of 1,500 people.

From a total lump sum of $76,265, funds were distributed among three Cowichan-area charities: $32,840 to the Cowichan Brain Injury Society, $25,995 to the Canadian Mental Health Association-Cowichan Branch, and $17,430 to the Cowichan Therapeutic Riding Association (CTRA). Additional revenue was generated through food sales and a silent auction.
