Tijuana Mayor Ismael Burgueño Ruiz conducted an inspection of the first construction phase of the retirement home for the Section 2 of the National Union of Education Workers (SNTE).

The project is designed to provide spaces for the care, learning, and social interaction of retired workers. According to architect Jesús Espinoza, the initial stage includes a multipurpose classroom, restrooms, a nursing station, a storage room, a chapel, and two workshop areas.

Accompanying the mayor during the visit were representatives from the D-IV-2 Union Delegation of Retirees and Pensioners, as well as members of the Pro-Construction Board.
