Ismaele La Vardera leads in Sicilian 2027 regional election poll

A political poll conducted by BiDiMedia between July 10 and July 12, 2026, indicates the projected standings for the 2027 Sicilian regional elections. Ismaele La Vardera, representing the Controcorrente movement, leads the presidential candidate preferences with 23.1% of the vote.

Renato Schifani follows in second place with 19.2%, while Cateno De Luca holds third place with 17.3%. Among political parties, Controcorrente is positioned as the leading group with 19.8% support, ahead of Fratelli d’Italia at 12.6% and Forza Italia at 11.7%. The Partito Democratico (PD) and Movimento 5 Stelle (M5S) are closely matched, receiving 10.7% and 10.6% respectively. Sud Chiama Nord is recorded at 9%, while Futuro Nazionale stands at 4%.

The survey utilized a representative sample of the Sicilian population, weighted by previous voting patterns, with a margin of error of +/- 4.0%.
