Ismail Kowsari addresses U.S. sanctions and military tensions with Iran

Ismail Kowsari, a Tehran representative in the 12th Parliament, addressed the ongoing economic and military tensions between Iran and the United States. Acknowledging the presence of inflation and high prices, Kowsari stated that the Iranian people remain resilient despite economic pressures.

Regarding military escalations, Kowsari characterized the United States as being in a state of confusion and desperation. He noted that while the U.S. engages in military actions and economic blockades, it has failed to achieve its goal of regime change. He specifically mentioned attempts to influence the Strait of Hormuz and criticized the motivations of the Trump administration, describing their approach as predatory.

Kowsari admitted that Iran has sustained damage from recent attacks but maintained that the U.S. has not met its objectives. He emphasized that despite economic sanctions and military pressure, the Iranian leadership and people remain steadfast against efforts to destabilize the country.
