Ismailia officials and religious leaders inaugurate Abu Shata Mosque
Egypt's Grand Mufti, Dr. Nazir Ayad, and Minister of Endowments, Dr. Osama al-Azhari, led Friday prayers at the Abu Shata Mosque, also known as Al-Gazzaria Mosque, in the village of Nafisha.
Ismailia Governor Major General Nabil Hasballah attended the service, which was broadcast live. The event coincided with the celebrations of Ismailia's National Day on October 16, a date commemorating the province's resistance against British occupation. Following the prayers, the mosque was officially inaugurated in the presence of local religious and executive leaders, as well as community members.
