ISMEA extends deadline for agricultural tractor safety fund

ISMEA has granted an extension for the submission of applications related to a 10 million euro INAIL Fund, which is dedicated to the modernization and safety improvement of agricultural and forestry tractors. The new deadline for applications has been moved to December 15, 2026.

Federacma, the Italian Federation of National Associations of Services and Trade in Machinery, requested the extension to allow more time for agricultural businesses, retailers, and workshops to fully utilize the measure. Federacma President Andrea Borio noted that the previous September 15 deadline coincided with an intense period of seasonal work for farmers and high workloads for service providers. The extension is intended to provide a three-month window to better inform farmers and assist them in evaluating necessary safety interventions for their machinery.
