Ismeal Kabia joins St Mirren on season-long loan from Arsenal

Arsenal winger Ismeal Kabia has joined St Mirren on a season-long loan for the 2026-27 campaign. The 20-year-old moved to the Scottish Premiership club after attracting interest from various teams across Scotland, England, and Europe.

St Mirren manager Craig McLeish noted that the club had been pursuing the deal for several weeks. The move required final approval from Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta, who granted clearance following the club's recent pre-season activities. McLeish described Kabia as a direct, pacey winger capable of one-v-one situations who will bring excitement to the squad.

The loan follows a season at Shrewsbury Town, where Kabia made 43 appearances. The agreement with St Mirren does not include a purchase option or obligation, allowing Arsenal to maintain control over the player's long-term future while he gains senior experience.
