ISMI Kepri inaugurates 2026–2030 leadership in Tanjungpinang

The Regional Board of the Indonesian Malay Scholars Association (PW ISMI) for Riau Islands (Kepri) has officially inaugurated its new leadership for the 2026–2030 period. During the inauguration ceremony held at the Kepri Regional Building in Tanjungpinang, Basyauruddin Idris was appointed as the Chairperson of PW ISMI Kepri.

Representing Governor Ansar Ahmad, Regional Secretary Misni urged the new management to move beyond ceremonial activities and implement concrete, measurable programs that provide direct and sustainable benefits to the community. Misni emphasized the importance of cross-sector collaboration between the organization, local government, academia, and the business sector to support regional development.

The new leadership structure includes various regional figures, academics, and university leaders serving on the Board of Trustees, Advisory Board, and Expert Board.
