Isola di Crevan private island in Venice for sale

The Isola di Crevan, a private island in the northern Venetian Lagoon, has been placed on the market for an estimated 5.5 million euros. Managed by Lionard Luxury Real Estate, the 5,700-square-meter property is located approximately seven kilometers from Venice, offering views of Murano and Burano.

The estate features a 215-square-meter historic fort that was originally constructed in 1806 as a Napoleonic military outpost. Following extensive restoration efforts that began in 1996, the structure has been converted into a modern residence containing four bedrooms and three bathrooms. The property is characterized by its lush gardens, fruit trees, and ornamental plants, as well as two private boat landings and an internal canal.

The island holds historical significance, having served as a defensive site during the Napoleonic and Austrian eras before transitioning to private ownership after World War I. It was previously owned by businessman Giorgio Panto, who died in a helicopter accident near the island in 2006. The current offering includes modern amenities such as electricity, heating, and air conditioning, alongside specialized infrastructure like a helipad.
