Isparta Mayor implements accessibility and support services for disabled citizens

Isparta Mayor Şükrü Başdeğirmen is implementing various investments and services aimed at supporting individuals with disabilities in the city. These initiatives focus on helping disabled citizens reintegrate into social life and improving urban accessibility.

During a visit from the Isparta Walking Disabled Life Association, led by President Erşan Kaplan, association members expressed gratitude for the municipal support. The mayor highlighted ongoing efforts to improve city infrastructure, including the installation of ramps on sidewalks, accessible public toilets, and home modifications such as customized bathrooms and ramps for those in need.

In addition to physical infrastructure, the municipality provides practical assistance, including support for those requiring walking sticks, electric or manual wheelchairs, and home care services. Mayor Başdeğirmen emphasized that the administration remains committed to consulting with disabled citizens to address their specific needs and ensure they are not left alone in the city.
