Israel Adesanya criticizes Glory Kickboxing and discusses retirement plans

Former UFC middleweight champion Israel Adesanya has criticized Glory Kickboxing, alleging the organization was “crooked” and cost him a world title. Adesanya claimed the organization favored a Dutch fighter during his 2017 championship bout, which resulted in a unanimous decision loss.

Separately, the 37-year-old fighter addressed his future career plans, stating he has no intention of returning to combat sports once he retires. Adesanya expressed a desire to avoid the common pitfall of fighters who struggle to transition away from the spotlight. He noted that he plans to reduce his fighting frequency to approximately twice a year and is interested in pursuing acting opportunities, having previously declined film roles to focus on title defenses.
