Israel Adesanya reportedly set for December 5 UFC main event in Saudi Arabia

Former UFC middleweight champion Israel Adesanya is reportedly scheduled to headline a UFC event in Saudi Arabia on December 5. According to reports from MMA journalist Ariel Helwani, Adesanya is slated to face Sharabutdin Magomedov.

The matchup comes as Adesanya seeks to break a four-fight losing streak, which includes recent defeats to Joe Pyfer, Nassourdine Imavov, and Dricus Du Plessis. Magomedov, a rising contender in the division, enters the bout following consecutive victories over Michel Pereira and Marc-Andre Barriault.

While the pairing has been reported, the UFC has not yet issued a formal announcement regarding the booking or the full fight card. If confirmed, the event would mark Magomedov’s first UFC main event appearance.
