Israel and Argentina promote Isaac Accords in Latin America

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and Argentine President Javier Milei met in New York to discuss the expansion of the ‘Isaac Accords’. Modeled after the Abraham Accords, this initiative seeks to deepen political, economic, technological, and security ties between Israel and Latin American nations.

During meetings held on the sidelines of the United Nations General Assembly, Netanyahu invited Paraguay, Panama, and Bolivia to join the initiative, which is currently being driven by Argentina. The proposed cooperation focuses on areas such as artificial intelligence, drones, counter-terrorism, and combating organized crime. Israel has identified shared interests with the region regarding security threats, specifically citing activities linked to Iran.

In their bilateral meeting, Netanyahu praised Milei’s economic management, while Milei reaffirmed his alignment with Israel. The expansion of these accords aims to normalize and strengthen regional relations through multifaceted strategic partnerships.
