Israel anniversary: Officials condemn Hamas attacks
On the third anniversary of the Hamas attacks on Israel, various officials and organizations have issued statements of solidarity with the Israeli people and condemnation of the terrorism.
Serbian Foreign Minister Marko Đurić expressed deep compassion for the civilians, families, and young people killed or abducted during the October 7 attacks. He stated that Serbia maintains a principled stance of support for Israel, describing the event as a direct attack on the state of Israel and the Jewish people worldwide. Đurić noted his personal connection to the history of the Jewish people as the grandson of an Auschwitz survivor.
In Bosnia and Herzegovina, Amir Gross Kabiri, president of the M. T. Abraham Group, issued a call for the international community to reject antisemitism and ensure the crimes committed are not forgotten. He emphasized that the attacks were an assault on human dignity and the right of the Jewish people to live securely in their homeland. Local entities, including The Hub of Fine Arts and Aluminij Industrija, were illuminated in remembrance of the victims.
