Israel targets Hamas financial network and military leaders in Gaza
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) and the Shin Bet have announced the elimination of 16 key figures within Hamas's financial network. According to Israeli authorities, these individuals managed a vast money-laundering and transfer system involving dozens of money changers in Gaza and Turkey. In separate military developments, the IDF reported killing four Hamas members in Gaza, one of whom was a commander involved in the October 7 attacks. The military also announced the destruction of a two-kilometer-long tunnel. Additionally, an 'operational accident' involving an exploding Israeli drone resulted in the deaths of two reserve soldiers at a military site in northern Gaza, prompting an immediate military investigation.
