Israel Bonds receives Presidential Medal of Honor for 75 years of service
Israeli President Isaac Herzog awarded Israel Bonds the Presidential Medal of Honor at the President’s Residence in Jerusalem. The organization was recognized for its 75-year history of supporting Israel’s economic development and resilience since its establishment in 1951.
Israel Bonds is only the third organization to receive this honor. During the ceremony, President Herzog noted that the organization has raised more than $58 billion worldwide. He specifically highlighted the recent surge in investment following the October 7, 2023, attacks, noting that global investments in Israel Bonds have exceeded $8.5 billion since that period, including $1 billion raised in the first month alone.
Dr. Andrew M. Hutter, the organization’s U.S. and international chairman of the board, and Dani Naveh, the global president and CEO, accepted the award on behalf of the group. The event was attended by over 100 members of the organization’s international leadership, with representatives present from the United States, Canada, Mexico, the United Kingdom, Germany, and Brazil.
