Israel Defense Forces bans Chinese technology in military facilities
The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) has announced new restrictions on the use of Chinese technology to bolster cybersecurity and prevent intelligence leaks. Under these new directives, Israeli military personnel and institutions are prohibited from using Chinese-made technology.
Specifically, Chinese-manufactured vehicles are now banned from entering Israeli military bases and facilities, extending security protocols previously applied only to the Shin Bet. The IDF is also implementing specialized frequencies for ground devices to prevent unauthorized data transmission.
Security experts have raised concerns regarding the potential for sensitive operational information to be exposed through the widespread use of Chinese-made drones. The military stated that all equipment, including weapons, vehicles, and digital components, must meet strict security standards and undergo testing before deployment.
