Israel Defense Forces strike militants and weapons sites in Gaza

The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) conducted targeted strikes in the Gaza Strip, resulting in the deaths of three Palestinian militants. The individuals identified include Muhammad Aja, a company commander in the Hamas military wing, and members of Palestinian Islamic Jihad, Hassam Walid Hassan Abu al-Ata and Magdi Moein Yousef al-Ayoubi.

In coordination with the Israeli Security Agency (Shin Bet), the military also destroyed four weapons storage facilities belonging to Hamas and Islamic Jihad. These sites reportedly contained various combat equipment, including rockets, mortars, explosive devices, and Kalashnikov rifles. The IDF stated these operations were necessary to degrade the capabilities of terrorist organizations and prevent the stockpiling of weapons intended to harm troops.
