Israel Deploys International Force in Gaza, Faces West Bank Settler Tension

The Israeli prime minister’s office announced that roughly 200 troops from friendly nations will operate in Gaza outside the "yellow line," doing so in full coordination with the Israeli army. The multi‑national "Peace Council" approved the deployment, and tactical vehicles have reached the International Security Force base, with logistic support being prepared for the force’s field operations.

At the same time, the Israeli army warned that increasing settler violence in the West Bank could compel a call‑up of reservists, potentially weakening military readiness for any flare‑up with Lebanon or Iran. The army has so far avoided expanding forces in Gaza or the West Bank to prevent over‑taxing the reserve system.
