Israel-Hamas conflict: Disputes over Gaza disarmament and withdrawal terms

Disputes persist regarding the implementation of a ceasefire and disarmament agreement in Gaza. Reports indicate an impasse between Israel and Hamas over the terms of withdrawal. While some entities advocate for a pathway toward Palestinian self-determination and statehood, Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and a majority of Israelis maintain that a Palestinian state will not be established.
