Israel warns of potential military strikes against Iran's nuclear sites

An Israeli official has warned that a new military operation against Iran may be ‘a matter of time,’ citing concerns over the rapid acceleration of Tehran’s nuclear infrastructure. According to reports from the Saudi network Al-Hadath, Israel is monitoring increased activity near ‘Pickaxe Mountain’ (Kuh-e Kolang Gaza) located near the Natanz nuclear facilities.

Western intelligence services and the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) have noted construction activity in this area, which is believed to be a potential site for the storage of sensitive nuclear materials. The official stated that Israel is prepared for renewed conflict at ‘any moment’ and would consider striking Iranian nuclear sites—either independently or in coordination with the United States—should Tehran cross established ‘red lines.’

While coordination with Washington remains strong, there is ongoing uncertainty regarding whether diplomatic mediation could lead to a broader agreement. The official also noted that internal divisions and economic pressures within Iran could potentially drive the regime toward a military response across the region.
