Israeli culinary initiatives launch in Tel Aviv and the United States

The Carlton Tel Aviv Hotel is hosting a culinary series titled ‘Pop Up by Carlton TLV’ from November 3 to December 10. The event features six Israeli chefs and six local wineries, offering weekly menus that explore various styles such as Mediterranean cuisine, open-fire techniques, and Silk Road flavors. The dinners, which are kosher under the supervision of the Tel Aviv Rabbinate, include wine pairings and are limited to 50 diners per evening.

In the United States, the Israel Ministry of Tourism is conducting the ‘A Taste of Israel’ culinary roadshow. As part of the ‘I AM ISRAEL’ campaign, chef Yossi Shitrit is bringing a food truck tour to several cities in the American South, including Boca Raton, Dunwoody, Nashville, and Dallas. In Dunwoody, Georgia, Shitrit will collaborate with local chef Shai Lavi to serve dishes like fish kataif, blending Israeli influences with local culinary talent.
