Israeli defense contractor IMCO hit by massive cyberattack stealing 30TB data

A large‑scale cyber intrusion targeted IMCO, a key Israeli defense manufacturer that supplies the Ministry of Defense with armored vehicle systems, missile platforms and related electronics. The attackers, claiming affiliation with the "Front Dukungan Siber" group, exfiltrated roughly 30 terabytes of data, including about 10 terabytes of highly sensitive military documents, blueprints, contracts and internal surveillance footage.

IMCO confirmed serious damage to its networks and announced the formation of a dedicated crisis team, bringing in foreign specialists to contain the breach and assess the fallout. The incident is described as one of the most severe cyber‑attacks in Israel’s defense sector history, prompting heightened scrutiny of supply‑chain security and cyber‑defence measures.
