Israeli forces clear land for new settlement outpost in Sinjil north of Ramallah

Israeli military units have been clearing additional dunams from the Palestinian town of Sinjil, located north of Ramallah, to expand a settlement outpost that covers roughly 10 dunams and includes a caravan‑style house. Local sources say the outpost serves as a base for settler attacks, blocking residents from reaching their fields, stealing livestock, and destroying crops, all under the protection of the Israeli army. The expansion follows the construction of a road linking the Ma'ale Levona settlement to the area known as Ghraba. According to a report by the Resistance Committee against the Wall and Settlement, the first half of 2026 saw a surge in settler violations, with 42 outposts established on private Palestinian land, including nine in the Ramallah governorate.
