Israeli military demolishes structures and uproots trees in Duma

Israeli military forces demolished agricultural structures and uprooted dozens of trees in the Shakkara area of Duma, located south of Nablus in the West Bank. According to Suleiman Dawabsha, head of the Duma Village Council, the demolitions targeted livestock sheds and agricultural buildings belonging to Mousa Zawahra and Salama Zawahra.

In addition to the actions in Duma, demolition notices were distributed in Kafr Aqab, north of Jerusalem, near the separation barrier. Local authorities reported that these measures aim to limit Palestinian urban expansion in areas adjacent to the wall.

Data from OCHA and local human rights organizations indicate a significant increase in such activities. OCHA reported that in a recent seven-day period in August 2026, 25 Palestinian-owned structures were demolished, displacing 29 people. The Palestinian Wall and Settlement Resistance Commission documented 2,256 attacks by Israeli forces and settlers in the West Bank during July 2026, including 80 demolition operations affecting 165 structures.
