Israeli military strikes kill seven Palestinians in Gaza and West Bank

Israeli military operations in Gaza and the West Bank have resulted in the deaths of at least seven Palestinians. In the Gaza Strip, four people were killed in separate strikes, including three members of the same family. One attack targeted a group of farmers in Al Qarara, while another hit the Al Saqira neighborhood in Gaza City. The Israeli military stated these strikes were directed at Hamas militants.

In the West Bank, the Israeli military announced the death of Qais Bitawi, a high-ranking Hamas official, during an attack on a vehicle near the Jenin refugee camp. Hamas confirmed the death of three individuals in the strike.

These incidents occur amid deteriorating humanitarian conditions in Gaza. Displaced populations are living in overcrowded, makeshift shelters characterized by poor sanitation and pest infestations. Local authorities report that over 1,300 Palestinians have died since the October 2025 ceasefire agreement took effect.
