Mali and Liel Yahalomi found safe in Argentina after Vienna disappearance

Mali Yahalomi, 50, and her daughter Liel, 23, have been located in Argentina after being reported missing in Vienna, Austria. Local Argentine police found the two women on a long-distance bus.

The disappearance, which began on August 7 after the women traveled from Prague to Vienna, initially sparked international concern and speculation regarding potential kidnapping or criminal activity. However, Vienna police confirmed that the women had left Austria of their own free will and that no evidence of violence was found at their accommodation.

During the search, rumors circulated regarding a potential financial scandal involving Mali Yahalomi, an employee of the Bank of Jerusalem. These rumors caused a temporary drop in the bank's stock price, but both the bank and the family have denied any financial irregularities or connection to the disappearance.

Israel Police have since made contact with the women, confirming they are safe and that their disappearance was a voluntary decision to cut off contact. Authorities stated there are no grounds for arrest and no suspicion of criminal activity.
