Israeli Quantum Startups Quantum Art and Classiq Pursue $2‑5 B SPAC Listings

Two Israeli quantum‑computing companies, Quantum Art and Classiq, are in advanced talks to merge with special‑purpose acquisition companies (SPACs) that could list them on U.S. stock exchanges. Both firms are targeting valuations between $2 billion and $5 billion.

Quantum Art is developing a full‑scale trapped‑ion quantum computer with modular architecture and error‑correction capabilities, while Classiq is building a hardware‑agnostic operating system for quantum machines, aiming to become the sector’s equivalent of Windows. Neither company has disclosed the negotiations publicly.

The moves reflect growing investor appetite for deep‑tech ventures; about 30 SPACs are actively scouting quantum‑computing targets, and several Israeli startups have already accessed public markets. Successful listings would give the firms substantial capital to accelerate development before achieving commercial revenues, underscoring Israel’s position as a leading hub for quantum research and venture backing.
