Masked Israeli settlers attacked a Palestinian woman and an NBC News reporting team in the West Bank village of Jalud, near Nablus. The incident occurred while the crew, including correspondent Matt Bradley, was interviewing 51-year-old Aida Ahmed Abdullah, who was describing how settlers had forced her family from their home.

Video footage shows a vehicle with Israeli license plates approaching the group before several masked men in dark clothing exited the car. The attackers used sticks and stones to assault the group, injuring Abdullah and three members of the news crew—a producer, cameraman, and driver. The attackers also damaged the crew’s vehicle and camera equipment. Abdullah was treated by the Red Crescent; her injuries were reported as not life-threatening.

In a separate incident in the village of Qusra, settlers reportedly stormed a Palestinian home while the owner, Louay Adli, and his family were inside. Adli alleged that Israeli security forces watched the attack and used tear gas on the residence, causing the occupants to flee to the roof to avoid suffocation. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu condemned the violence in both locations, describing the actions as criminal acts committed by a handful of rioters.

International organizations, including the Foreign Press Association, have condemned the assault, noting it as part of a recurring pattern of violence against journalists and Palestinian civilians in the region.
